MALLORCA BECOMES A NEW INTERNATIONAL BASE FOR LEGENDS TEAM CUP

LTC Holding and Legends Team Cup strengthen their international organisation with a new base in Mallorca as preparations for 2026 accelerate

As Legends Team Cup moves towards its real international start in 2026, LTC Holding is establishing a new international base in Mallorca.

The move forms part of the continued development of the company and the organisation surrounding its flagship sports property.

For LTC Holding, Mallorca represents more than a new office location.

The island’s international environment and its natural connections to sport, hospitality, entrepreneurship and lifestyle make it a relevant base for a company developing an international sports property.

“We were looking for more than an office address,” says Mårten Hedlund, Founder and CEO of LTC Holding Ltd. “We wanted to build in an environment that reflects many of the worlds Legends Team Cup brings together. Sport, hospitality, entrepreneurship, international relationships and lifestyle are naturally connected in Mallorca.”

The establishment of the new base comes after five years of development around Legends Team Cup and the wider intellectual property and concepts surrounding the property.

As the focus increasingly moves from development towards execution, the organisation behind the property is also evolving.

“The first five years have been about creating, testing, learning and developing,” says Hedlund. “Now we are preparing the structure for the real start in 2026. That means strengthening the organisation and creating the right environment for the next phase.”

Building an International Organisation

The Mallorca base will support LTC Holding’s work across property development, international relationships, partnerships, media, commercial strategy and communications.

Modern sports properties operate across borders.

The event may take place in one market.

Production can involve international expertise.

Media relationships may span continents.

Commercial partners can operate globally.

And audiences can engage with a property from almost anywhere in the world.

For Peter Agnell, building the structure behind a property is therefore as important as developing what the audience eventually sees.

“Building an international sports property requires an international mindset from the beginning,” says Agnell. “Production, media, distribution and the audience experience increasingly involve different markets and specialist areas of expertise. The organisation behind the property has to reflect that reality.”

LTC Holding is therefore developing around international expertise, relationships and specialist knowledge.

The new base in Mallorca will become one part of that wider structure.

Why Mallorca

Mallorca has developed into an increasingly international environment for entrepreneurs, business leaders, athletes and professionals from across Europe and beyond.

Its connection to sport and hospitality, combined with an established international community, creates a natural intersection of many of the worlds connected to Legends Team Cup.

For LTC Holding, this is particularly relevant.

“We are an entrepreneurial company building something international,” says Hedlund. “The environment around you matters. Mallorca brings together people, ideas and industries in a very natural way. For us, it feels like the right place to build the next part of the company.”

The new base also reflects the culture LTC Holding wants to create.

International.

Entrepreneurial.

Relationship-driven.

And connected to the wider worlds of sport, media, hospitality and experiences.

The Work Behind the Scenes

While future audiences will experience Legends Team Cup through competition, media and live events, much of the work taking the property towards 2026 is currently happening away from public view.

Organisation.

Partnership structures.

Media development.

Commercial strategy.

Destination relationships.

Content.

Operations.

And the continued development of the intellectual property surrounding the property.

“Some of our most important work is happening behind the scenes right now,” says Hedlund. “People will eventually see the competition, the players and the live experience. But before that, you need the people, the structure, the relationships and thousands of decisions to come together.”

For LTC Holding, the Mallorca base is another visible sign that the property is moving into a new phase.

After five years of development, the foundations are increasingly in place.

The focus is moving forward.

“We are building an international company,” Hedlund says. “Mallorca feels like the right home for the next part of that journey.”

A new base.

A growing organisation.

Five years of development behind us.

And the real start of Legends Team Cup ahead.

2026.
