The Legends Team Cup redefines tennis with an annual tour of high-stakes, high-energy matches. Three elite teams, 18 legendary players, and a $12 million prize pool come together in a thrilling format that promises excitement and unforgettable moments on a global stage.
Competition Format and Rules
Initial Three-Team Event
All three teams (A, B, C) compete in a round-robin format with 9 matches over 3 days, including 2 singles and 1 doubles match each day.
Following Six Events
Each team faces the others twice, totaling six matchups for each pair (A-B, B-C, C-A).
Player Nominations
Captains announce their line-ups at 10:00 AM before each event. Match-ups are determined through an exchange of lineup cards.
Scoring System
- Day 1: 1 point per win
- Day 2: 2 points per win
- Day 3: 3 points per win.
The first team to reach 10 points wins the event.
The Final
The top two teams from the seven events qualify for the final, which mirrors the previous events.
Match Format
Matches are pro sets to 8 games, with a 10-point match tiebreak if needed. Each player can participate in singles only once per day, and doubles must involve at least three of the four players.
Winning Team
The team reaching 10 points wins the event. If tied after all 9 matches, a final doubles match tiebreak to 10 points decides the winner.
