A New Era of Tennis: Intense, Spectacular, Unmissable
Legends Team Cup features three teams, formed each year through a live annual draft, where the team captains select their players for the season.
In 2025, each team consists of five players, and each captain holds one wildcard to bring in new stars during the year.
Tour & Match Format
Tour Structure
Each team faces the other two teams twice, resulting in six tournament events. The top two teams after six rounds advance to a final showdown.
Prize money per event: $1 million
Prize money for the final: $5 million
Event Format
Each tournament features two teams competing over three days, with 2 singles and 1 doubles match per day.
Matches are played in two short sets to 4 games (tiebreak at 3–3). If tied, a Champions Tiebreak to 8 points decides the match.
Each match lasts approximately 45–60 minutes.
Scoring System
Day 1: 1 point per win
Day 2: 2 points per win
Day 3: 3 points per win
The first team to reach 10 points wins the event, ensuring maximum drama until the final match.
Line-ups
Captains submit line-ups daily at 10:00 AM.
Same players can’t meet twice.
All players play every day.
