On December 4, 2024, the iconic Madison Square Garden will host the highly anticipated Legends Team Cup Draft, a groundbreaking moment in the world of tennis. Alongside thrilling exhibition matches between rising stars Carlos Alcaraz and Ben Shelton, as well as Emma Navarro and Jessica Pegula, the grand draft for the Legends Team Cup will unfold.
Eighteen of the greatest tennis players from the past decades will be drafted into three legendary teams. These teams will be led by three renowned icons of the tennis world, making this draft a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The players are divided into three categories: Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3, based on their career accomplishments.
After a draw to determine the draft order, team captains will select one player from Tier 1, two players from Tier 2, and three players from Tier 3 to form their squads.
Throughout 2025, these teams will face off in head-to-head matchups, competing in six global events. The two teams with the most points at the end of the season will battle for ultimate glory in the Grand Superfinal in December 2025.
